I also was born on July 20, I will be 75 this coming July I played in a Band here in Monteagle, Tennessee beginning in High School and continuing until age I had an 8-Track Tape of Dennis singing all his hits and I played it constantly.

Our Band did "Spooky" and "Traces of Love" on an every night rotation. I never knew about his fall but am sad and feel for Linda Yost. Dennis had a sound that was so relaxing and nice to just sit and listen to. So sorry for his entire family. I wonder if he had any Children? I was a huge fan of this group and thought Dennis had one of the greatest voices of our time. I saw him once in Midway of the Mississippi state fair. When i saw him walking i spoke to him and he stopped and talked to me for about 5 minutes.
